Yash Dhull’s name is making rounds on the internet as he has led the Indian Under-19 team to the Final of the ICC U-19 World Cup. The young batsman hit a century against Australia in the semi-final to become only the third Indian skipper to hit a century in the U-19 world cup. The other two in the list the Virat Kohli and Unmukt Chand.
Who is Yash Dhull?
The youngster was born in Janakpuri (Delhi) and has been the Indian captain in different age-group teams, including the Under 16s and Under 19s. It was at the age of 11 that Dhull, as a batsman, entered the Bal Bhavan School academy and took cricket professionally.
In September-October 2021, Dhull ended up being the highest run-scorer in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy. A total of 302 runs in 5 matches for the Delhi state team were scored by him, averaging 75.50. Additionally, Dhull has led the India U19 team at the ACC U19 Asia Cup in 2021 as well.

We had cut down on our expenses. My father was an army man. The pension that he received was used to run the household. Yash would always wonder how we were managing it,” Yash’s father had said.
