Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered a heart-wrenching loss against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator of the IPL 2020. This ended their hope of picking up the Indian Premiere League Trophy Yet Again.
The three-time finalists bowed out of the competition with five defeats in a row.
The Virat Kohli-led side failed to get going with the bat again and managed to score only 131 for 7. Barring AB de Villiers (56) and Aaron Finch (32), no other batsmen could play any substantial knock. Among the nine players who batted, Mohammed Siraj (10) was the only one after de Villiers and Finch to touch the double-digit mark with the bat.
So, one can sense the problem with the batting there.
In response to the low total of RCB, Hyderabad lost early wickets and things were looking challenging for them in the 12th over when they were 67 for 4. Then came a solid partnership of Williamson and Holder who took their side to the 2nd Qualifier with 2 balls to spare.

RCB is a team that has always looked so close to the Cup but has never been able to take it home. Their fans though have stood up with the team irrespective of this.
