The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a jumbo squad on 26th of October for the India tour of Australia which is going to happen later this year. The whole team will be in the bio bubble and will travel to Sydney directly from Dubai after the IPL ends on 10th of November.
The Indian team is set to play 4 test matches, 3 One Day Internationals and 3 T20 Internationals in the tour that will last more than 2 months. What surprised the Indian fans all around was absence of senior batsman Rohit Sharma.

Rohit had missed the last couple of IPL matches for his team Mumbai Indians (MI). The management told that he is suffering from a hamstring injury and would be back on the field as soon as possible. They even added that he is recovering well. Right after this big announcement, netizens went crazy and started coming up with several assumptions. Some are assuming his fitness can be one of the hurdles that has kept him out of the Australia tour.
