Indian cricket fans are the best when it comes to crazy fan experiences and fan moments. They certainly have stories that can be heard over and over again. In fact, the sport itself is so big in India that the cricketers are treated no less than superstars.  This culture of strong devotion to the game and such extreme emotional touch that it has, has made cricket in India so much different from the rest of the world.

One such incident happened in Australia where a fan happened to find his favourite superstars in the same restaurant he was having his lunch.

The luck person was Navaldeep Singh (according to his Twitter handle) who spotted the likes of Rohit Sharma, Navdeep Saini, Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill while he was at the restaurant at the same time. He was overwhelmed after looking at the superstars and end up paying their bill worth AUD 118.69 (INR 6683).

Firstly, he was quick to post a video in happiness having spotted his favourite cricketers and then ordered something for himself just to sit and watch them.

Navaldeep then tweeted that he was not at all hungry but just to keep watching the cricketers, he ordered another dish.

Here is his tweet:

Indian Cricketers thank Navaldeep for the Lunch

When the players got to know about a fan paying the bill for them, Rohit Sharma asked him to take the money with even Rishabh Pant hilariously telling that the photo will be clicked only if he takes the money back. Pant even hugged the fan before the players clicked the picture with the fan and his wife.

Known for his humour, Rishabh Pant even thanked the fan’s wife saying, “Thank you bhabhi ji for the lunch.” The fan narrated the whole incident on his Twitter handle and social media is busy praising him for his wonderful gesture towards the cricketers. No wonder the fan was very happy after meeting the Indian superstars and undoubtedly he could not have asked for a better start to the year.
