In some breaking news coming in, new CSK skipper Ravindra Jadeja has made a post where he has renounced the leadership of Chennai Super Kings which he took over in the ongoing TATA IPL 2022.
Jadeja has handed over things to the former India and CSK skipper MS Dhoni who has accepted his old job seeing the larger picture of the game.
The 2021 IPL winners incurred one of their worst possible start to a season as they lost their first four games in a row before claiming their first victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 12. And just when it was expected for a comeback for CSK under the leadership of Jadeja, CSK lost two more matches in their next three games to stand ninth in the points table just above Mumbai Indians.

Here is what the official CSK statement read:
“MS Dhoni has accepted to lead CSK in the larger interest and to allow Jadeja to focus on his game,”
This was seen coming because apart from the team struggling, Jadeja himself was having a pretty bad season both with bat and ball.
He just 112 runs in 92 balls at a strike rate of 121.7 with a boundary every 8.3 balls while only picking five wickets in eight innings at an economy rate of 8.19.
