South-African Leg spinner Tabraiz Shamsi is going through a great run in his cricketing career.
The leggie took 4 wickets for just 27 runs against Ireland in the first T20 and rightly, he won the Man of the Match for his efforts. He took to Twitter to dedicate this award to his son and also to express that his father always wants to make him proud.
“This one was for you my son… Daddy just wants to make you proud,” he wrote in this tweet. However, one of the twitter users replied to the tweet in a rather distasteful way saying that Shamsi should tell his son that his father only got into the team because of his race but not talent. Just for you to know, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has set a rule that six players from the playing XI should always be non-white with two of those being of African ethnicity.
One Day Tell Ur Son The Story That I Got Selected In @OfficialCSA ahead of @Simon_Harmer_ owing to my skin colour. He will feel doubly proud

Shamsi’s Perfect Reply
Responding to the tweet of the racist fan, Tabraiz Shamsi wrote a very polite message, showing his class and did not belittle anyone through his words.
“Dont you worry…my son will know his dad played for South Africa because he was good enough to play for his country! Through his hard work n his dedication to do his job honestly & as best as he could do it every single day (Simon is an exceptional bowler btw),” Shamsi’s Tweet read.
