Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara’s poor form continues as the experienced batter got out on a golden duck in the 1st Test match against South Africa. He was already in the news for a prolonged bad patch and his selection was under the clouds. So much so that Pujara’s last test century was scored way back in January 2019.
With emerging young batsmen like Shreyas Iyer and Surya Kumar Yadav getting into the minds of the selectors, Pujara’s place in the Indian team looks very unstable as of now.
With Pujara failing badly once again after getting one more opportunity, Twitter came on rather harshly on him but the Indian head coach decided to show some support to the test veteran.
Here is a video of Rahul Dravid tapping Pujara on his back and showing support after the batsman came back to the pavilion.
