BCCI Chairman Sourav Ganguly believes that Rishab Pant is an exceptional talent for the Indian team and should be allowed to play his natural game.
Pant has been selected as the wicket-keeper for the much awaited ICC World Test Championship Final and some fans are not happy as they think of Pant as a little raw and immature with his approach to batting in Test cricket. However, Pant has time and again proved his critics wrong with his multidimensional batting capabilities. The most recent example being the great Indian series win against Australia, in Australia.
BCCI boss Ganguly said that Pant is an unbelievable talent who is gonna win matches for his nation single-handedly. He added that Pant being a game-changer should have the freedom to play his natural game in any situation and this has always worked in favour of the Indian team.

“Pant is an unbelievable talent. He’s one of those players who can single-handedly change the course of a game. Pant is that kind of a game-changer. He should be allowed to play his natural game. It is better to let such players play like themselves.”
“In England, the ball swings more and that’s why there have been some issues. You have to play a bit late. But let’s just forget what has happened in the past.
