In some breaking news coming in, Bangladesh All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been ruled out of the remainder of T20 World Cup due to a hamstring injury. This for sure is a big blow for the Bangladesh team as Shakib is one of the best all-rounders in the world and his team could surely use his contributions with the bat and the ball.
The Mahmudullah-led Bangladesh side is already having a very poor run in the mega event having lost all three games thus far and they have a net run rate of -1.069. Bangladesh after performing well in the Round 1 was placed in Group 1 of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 along with Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies and Sri Lanka.
It is highly unlikely that the Bangladesh team will qualify for the semis looking at the point table situation at this point in time.
Before getting injured and ruled out of the extravagant event due to a hamstring injury Shakib Al Hasan was having a tremendous run in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
