The Mumbai Indians won by a dominating status against the Delhi Capitals in the first Qualifier. However, the win has turned a bit sour due to the injury sustained by their pacer Trent Boult. The defending IPL champions thrashed Delhi by 57 runs to storm into the final and are now just one step ahead of clinching a record-extending fifth IPL title.
Mumbai Indians, however, could lose Trent Boult for the final game of the tournament. The left-arm pacer is in a race against time to be fit for the all-important clash after picking up a groin injury during Delhi Capitals’ innings. While the impact of the injury is not fully known yet, Trent Boult had to walk off the field immediately as Mumbai Indians took no risk.
Boult is a very important players for the franchise and his place in the team can highly impact the Final which would be happening on 10th of November.

“I’ve not seen him (Boult). But he seems okay. I don’t think it’s a big problem. Three-day rest and he should be back on the park,” said Rohit Sharma, speaking in the post-match presentation ceremony.”
Rohit Sharma Went All Praises for His team
The Mumbai skipper even went on to tell that this game was a perfect one for them as a team.
“I guess this is our best performance. The way de Kock and SKY took over the momentum after I got out early was good to see. Perfect result for us.”
“We never had a target in mind. We are a different team and we play differently. We just wanted to have a good powerplay and then take it from there. We knew we have the power to accelerate at the end,” Rohit Sharma concluded.
