RCB bowler Md. Siraj became the first bowler in the history of the IPL to bowl maiden overs in a single game. The talented young bowler achieved this feat against KKR where his first two overs didn’t concede a single run. He also ended up taking 3 big wickets in the course of the match.

Royal Challengers Bangalore comfortably won the match and Siraj was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Batting first, KKR’s top order collapsed badly and Siraj took the important wickets of Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana in consecutive deliveries. Tom Banton fell to Navdeep Saini the very next over.

Then, former skipper Dinesh Karthik and current skipper Eoin Morgan tried to slow things down for a while. However, the partnership ended with Karthik returning to the pavilion after getting out LBW to a beauty by Chahal.
Although Morgan tried his best to take KKR to a respectable total, he could not do much because of lack of support from the other end. The team somehow managed to play 20 overs and scored 84 runs for 8 wickets, Morgan being the top scorer with 30 runs.
A Golden Opportunity for RCB to increase their Net Run Rate
A target as minimal as this was, it was a great opportunity for Virat Kohli to increase their net run rate along with taking home those 2 crucial points.
They exactly knew this and won the game by 8 wickets in just 13.3 overs.
