In some breaking news coming in, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli has announced that he would be stepping down as the captain of the Indian T20 team after the completion of the T20 World Cup in October this year.
Speculations regarding the same were being made from quite some time but the BCCI turned them down time and again. However, this time around, the batsman has put the update officially on his social media channels. Kohli has reasoned his increased work load and pressure for this decision and he also said that he would continue to play the shorter format of the game as a batsman.

Well, now that he has made the clarification, it is pretty clear that Indian limited over vice-captain Rohit Sharma would lead the team going forward in T20 cricket.
Rohit is undoubtedly the most successful skipper in the IPL so the Indian fans would not mind this leadership change that much according to us.
